I wrote this in a pub, many years ago, with my friend Mike Leeman, when we were 'young poets' ready to rock the world of poetry off its feet. Before Murray Lachlan Young ruined it all.
Mike also wrote a Blue Haiku - I think he'll forgive me if I get this wrong
Blue Haiku
Voluptuous breasts Bouncing across the TV I’m masturbating
I hope you enjoy reading these poems, and find something in them for you. After all, isn't that what this is all about? It's not supposed to be some elite club, but sharing a thought or emotion, empathy and sympathy, expression and fun.
It's surely about writing that one thing for your lover or friend, someone's passing or birth. And making it so that others enjoy it too?
Who cares about ambiguity, the canon or snobbery? I don't, as long as I can touch you (not physically unless it's with your consent).
I am 39 years old, I live in Bristol, UK.
If you do enjoy then let me know.
Take care
Andrew
